BioNexa and Xpurify Cares Health-a-Thon is a community-driven initiative designed to expand equitable access to early detection, preventive care, and health education in underserved communities. In partnership with BioNexa, we bring accessible, point-of-care health tools and trusted community engagement directly into neighborhoods where traditional systems have fallen short.

ABOUT THE HEALTH-A-THON

The Health-a-Thon is more than an event, it is a community-led model for advancing health equity.

Hosted in Atlanta and built in collaboration with residents, patients, and community health workers, the Health-a-Thon integrates:

  • Free health screenings and wellness checks
  • Early detection awareness and education
  • Community resource navigation and support services
  • Real-time biosensing demonstrations for accessible health insights


Each Health-a-Thon is designed to meet people where they are, in trusted community spaces, ensuring that access to preventive care and health information is not a privilege, but a right.


COMMUNITY-LED APPROACH

Our work is grounded in a simple principle:
 Communities should lead the solutions designed to serve them.

Through our Community Advisory Board (CAB), composed of community members, patients, and local stakeholders:

  • Community voices define priorities
  • Residents guide implementation
  • Participants shape how data is used and shared

This ensures our approach is non-extractive, accountable, and rooted in lived experience, aligning with national best practices in equitable, community-centered research and action.

Matching of Fundraising Efforts:
BioNexa will match funds of employees personally raised for charitable events which they actively participate in (ex. walks, marathons, bike rides, etc.). BioNexa provides charitable donations to the following organizations and institutions:


  • Educational institutions (including K-12 schools)
  • Cancer Research
  • Science & Technology
  • Arts and cultural organizations
  • Environmental organizations
  • Healthcare relief
  • Disaster relief and international aid
  • Amateur sports
  • Other selected nonprofit causes
